Justice is a wonderful 6 month old Golden Retriever! He is very smart, very willing to work for us (and a treat!) and has a calm, easy going disposition. He loves playing with the other two dogs and is about the same size now, over 60 pounds.
Justice loves children and always wants to go to them when we are out in public. He gets lots of attention from them at my daughter’s dance studio. The studio is a great place for him to practice sitting when people come up to him to pet him. He is very patient and calm with all of the little girls!
Justice just completed the” Perfect Puppy” training class at Helping Paws and is now in the “Awesome Adolescent” class! He has been learning how to walk on a leash appropriately, help get himself “dressed” by walking into his Pack and Gentle Leader, and push drawers and cabinets closed with his nose. Justice also has been working on sit, stay, drop, heel and other basic commands.
Justice sleeps in a kennel at night and when we are not at home. At just the mention of the word “kennel”, he runs to get into one of his favorite spots! At the end of the “Perfect Puppy” class we had to teach our puppies any trick we wanted to. Now, thanks to my teenage son, Justice knows how to ride a skateboard! He is a very affectionate, cuddly puppy and a quick learner! I think he will become a great service dog!
