Daniel P. Kresowik practices primarily in the areas of Commercial Litigation, including General Litigation and Appeals, Creditor Rights/Bankruptcy Law, Employment Law and Landlord/Tenant Law. Dan has experience counseling and representing general contractors and subcontractors, a variety of creditors - including several regional and national banks - municipalities, private clubs and organizations, corporations and other entities, and multi-unit housing complexes.
Dan is an Iowa City native. He graduated from the University of Iowa with Distinction with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. He received his Juris Doctor degree with Distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law. While attending the College of Law, Dan worked with Professor Peter Blanck at the Law, Health Policy & Disability Center, and a Writer and Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice.
