Wendy Weiskircher was born in DeWitt, Iowa. She graduated with distinction from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa in 2003, with a Major in Journalism and Mass Communication and Minors in English and Political Science. She received her Juris Doctor degree with Distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in May 2006.

While at the University of Iowa, Wendy was a student writer and articles editor for the Iowa Law Review.   She served on the Phi Delta Phi executive board as the coordinator for the law intramural athletics leagues and was the Secretary for the Iowa Student Bar Association.  Wendy co-founded and directed the ISBA's Trial Run 5k, an annual race benefitting Iowa Legal Aid.

Wendy was admitted to the bar in 2006 and practices in all areas of law.

She resides in Davenport, where she enjoys running, playing basketball, traveling, and watching the Chicago Cubs.
