Steven J. Havercamp practices principally in the areas of Construction Law, Creditor Rights/Bankruptcy Law and Commercial Litigation, including General Litigation and Appeals.
 
Steven has extensive experience in counseling and representing owners, general contractors, and subcontractors on a variety of issues in the construction industry. He frequently makes presentations on relevant construction industry issues to a wide variety of construction professionals.
 
He also has extensive experience in counseling and representing creditors on a variety of issues involving enforcement of creditor rights and frequently makes presentations on issues relevant to creditors to attorneys, paralegals, collections and credit managers, loan officers, finance managers, and accountants.
 
Steven has extensive motion and trial experience, and has successfully tried and argued cases before the Iowa Supreme Court, Iowa Court of Appeals, Iowa District Court and various bankruptcy courts.
 
He is a member of the Scott County, Iowa State, and American Bar Associations and a committee member in the Commercial and Business Litigation, Business Torts Litigation and the Construction Law Sections of the ABA.
