Patrick Driscoll received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Loras College in Dubuque, IA and continued his education at Loyola University School of Law in Chicago, where he graduated in 1978. After law school, he and his wife Fran moved to Davenport, Iowa where they raised four sons and two daughters.
Pat is a shareholder in the litigation practice group of Stanley, Lande, and Hunter, with thirty years of experience in a wide variety of cases. He makes frequent court appearances and has had many jury trials, both at the state and federal levels. He has successfully enforced non-competition agreements, prosecuted and defended many motor vehicle related personal injury claims, and has had substantial successful trial experience in commercial litigation cases.
Community and church activities have always been important to Pat, especially in connection with the Scott County Bar Association, St. Paul the Apostle Parish, and Assumption High School. He serves as the current chairperson of both the Scott County Bar Association Technology Committee and the Citizenship Committee. He served as the president of the Scott County Bar Association in 2002-2003. He is past chair of the Scott County Bar Association Grievance Committee and past chair of the Scott County Bar Association Fee Dispute Committee.
For the past twenty years, Pat has been a volunteer participant in the high school and junior high mock trial competitions, serving both as a team coach and as a competition judge. He also serves as the coordinator for the Iowa State Bar Association American Citizenship Award presentations to the students at high schools in the Seventh Judicial District.
Although Pat enjoys golf, biking, running, and playing euchre, he and Fran enjoy nothing more than the time spent with their six children and nine grandchildren. His son Jamie, his wife Lizette, and their daughter Cristina live in Chesterton, IN. John, his wife Mieke and their three children, Moseley, Jack, and Shelia, live in York, PA. Patrick Jr. and his two daughters Alexandria and Bailey live in Davenport. Ben, his wife Karly and their children Grace and Ryan live in Davenport. Maggie, her husband Andy, and their daughter Amelia live in LaCrosse, WI. Catherine is a nurse at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport.
